Hi neighbor, nice to meet you!

I first moved to Loveland in 2016, but jobs moved me, and my now husband, around the front range of Colorado. But in 2022, we were both working remotely and got to finally ask ourselves, “Where do we want to live?“ We picked Loveland because of its beautiful downtown, love of the arts, and its cozy, small-town feel.

An early interest in service and people compelled me to earn a bachelor’s degree in journalism so I could spotlight the stories and voices of the community. Since then, I’ve worked at for-profit and non-profit organizations and I currently work for the State of Colorado’s Department of Personnel & Administration as a communications and marketing professional.

Transparency and accountability are values I hold closely, and I am proud to work alongside my fellow council members and city staff to make Loveland a place where all our neighbors thrive.

  • I live in Loveland with my husband, Andrew, and our cat, Maisie, whom we adopted from a rescue in 2019.

My husband, a software engineer, volunteers weekly at the Loveland Community Kitchen.

  • In my spare time, you’ll find me:

    • Reading to learn more about the issues our society faces and the solutions to them

    • Enjoying our city and state’s unique and precious public lands

    • Making something by hand (I knit, crochet, and sew, and love to take on home projects like replacing baseboards and painting)

    • Gardening, growing both edible and ornamental plants (I can’t let my neighbors, who are all incredible gardeners, down)

    • Enjoying Loveland’s wonderful businesses, including shops and restaurants

  • I want to see a Loveland where we take care of each other. One where our city council representatives always vote for what’s best for all of us, and a city that working-class folks can afford to live in.
